Finished

So I have finally finished reading all the Twilight series books, and can talk about it. I just finished Breaking Dawn, and it was good they all were good books, but I won't go into details incase some of you are reading still, but those who have read them just know this. I still find Jacob, Edward, and Bella on the mountain arguing FUNNY and that's all I have to say for now :)

Bananas bananas and not a monkey in site

So this week has been one of those weeks where you realize how much you have, and how much you love, but due to reality you can’t be with those you love most. It was thanksgiving week, and work was normal for the most part on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday came along, and I got off work early REALLY early for me because all my kids were gone. So that was the start of me being alone for Thanksgiving. My room mate was going out of town to be with her family, and that is cool. My whole family was out of town for the holiday as well, and I was thinking about going to be with them, but work made that difficult as did the weather. For the first time in a long time it FELT like fall. I know for those that live in like the east it’s like that’s not anything, but for us here in Phoenix it’s a big deal. It was raining all day Wednesday and it was chilly it was BEAUTIFUL! I love the rain when we get it here. Thursday I got to sleep, and just enjoy the weather I had though about going out to eat, but I decided I was much happier at home. Friday came, and I went to work where I had only a few kids and was bored out of my skull, but at the same point I was entertained. Babies can entertain you no matter what I’ve decided this except when they are sleeping. I got a lot done, and then got to go home, and I went to dinner with Rachel. We decided to go to Outback Steakhouse, and I love going there, and we had strawberry bulls SOOOO yummy! It was great, and then we went to Borders where I tortured myself going I want this and I want that. I have been banned from buying anything till after Christmas just incase someone gets me something. Rachel was looking at a Twilight book, and they had a section of Twilight stuff, and I wanted to get a few things. She was like go ahead, and I was like I’m banned what if someone gets me it for Christmas? She was like just get the soundtrack, and I was like then if I get one for Christmas where am I? Stuck with two? She was like never mind, and then I found a book I wanted. It was fun, but horrible at the same time cause Borders is like the place for me LOL! After we were done there we went to Wal-mart it was nice we just kind of looked around for a few things, and I got the rest of my Christmas shopping done, and bought myself some cute new pj’s. I haven’t heard what I am doing with the family for Christmas stuff, and knowing my blasted luck I’ll hear about it like when it’s too late to go out and get stuff. I love my family, and hate when I miss times with them. Like when I missed the lake trip and they discussed things I missed that, and now Thanksgiving I missed, and I know they must of talked about Christmas. I’m not trying to separate myself from my family. I can’t help if work comes along and bites my butt. Anyhow, we went home, and then Saturday Rachel and I got together, and had breakfast at Sonic (yippee we all know I just LOVE Sonic. Since I live there LOL thanks to work) we then went to her house and made banana bread for her co workers for Christmas. It was fun we watched a movie, and baked, and she had extra bananas so I got them. This made me want to make my own banana bread. We went to lunch at a place called Dazzo Dogs its soooooooo yummy its Chicago style hot dogs and stuff. It’s a great little place you wouldn’t even know about if someone didn’t tell you about it. After that we went to Lane Bryant cause I wanted to look at the stuff they had since they had a great sale, but I ended up buying nothing. SO we went to Frys and got all I needed to make banana bread. I came home, and cleaned, did laundry and baked it was like 9 or 10 when I was finally done with everything. I was all domestic, and made banana nut bread with chocolate chips. There is about 9 or 10 mini loafs and my house smells so good. It reminds me of when I lived at home, and my mom would make banana bread the same way with nuts and chocolate chips. It is great, and now I’m in a cooking baking mood. So I have to go look through some cook books and see what more I can make. It’s officially the holidays cause I have to much going on that I’m not sure when I’ll do more cooking and baking, but that’s ok. I’ll keep things updated I’m sure I’ll have some down time. Keep smiling ya’ll! Fairy blessings and peace be with you always.

Twlight and Happy Days my thoughts

So over the weekend I did a few things. Saturday I went to see Twilight, and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I knew going into it that my minds version and reality would be two VERY different things, but as far as I am concerned everything was pretty much how I thought it should be. If you haven’t read the books you will still enjoy the movie. I took two different people who have not read the books and they both enjoyed the movie. I know a total of three people who saw it without reading the books and enjoyed it and two of them want to read the books now. If you want no spoilers or don’t want to know details I suggest not reading because I am about to get a little detailed. (Just skip to the next paragraph if you want no Twilight talk)

I have lots of things I really liked about the movie, but for me I pictured Bella’s bedroom a little bigger, but I absolutely love the way her and her father interact with each other, and how their relationship is. I also had a totally more Victorian looking home in my minds eye when I read about the Cullen’s home. So, when it came to their home it was not what I expected, but it was nicely done, and I enjoyed it. Edward’s bedroom was very different as well for some reason I had this idea that his room was actually more roomy than it came out in the movie, but again you can’t put everyone’s vision into a movie right? I think I had a lot of moments I really liked. I thought it was funny when Edward asked Bella to distract him, so he wouldn’t go back and kill the guys, and she told him to put his seat belt on. I also really liked the first kiss scene I think it was the longest I’m going to kiss you moment EVER, but at the same point it showed how vulnerable Edward was and how fragile he views Bella, and when he feels he has gone too far, the disappointment he showed on this face was very good as well. I am excited for New Moon to come out and think I’ll stop talking about the movie now.

So then after that I went to Rachel’s we just hung out and relaxed went out to Olive Garden for dinner, and then home to bed. Today Sunday I went to see Happy Days the Musical. It was really cute I enjoyed it more than I can put into words. I loved the original songs and just the story itself. I remember watching happy days as a kid and to see characters like Mr. C, Richie and the Fonz brought to life was fun. I donated $25 to charity and got a poster signed by the cast. It was fun to a degree it reminded me of All Shoko up I think mainly because of the 50’s feel to it, and it did have a moment with Elvis and James Dean very nice.

Over all great weekend and hope yours was too!

so excited!

Ok so I just have to let anyone who is reading this know I am VERY excited to get the chance to see Twilight. The sad part is I have to wait untill Saturday, but I AM going, and that is exciting. I have heard so many wonderful things about it that I can't wait. Now mind you to me nothing can ever do justice to reading the books because there's so much to it that you can't ever put it all into a 2 hour movie, but I'm excited to see how they do it, and what's in it, and everything, and I will be posting about it, and hopefully seeing it more than once. I am also going to see a musical this weekend soooo excited!

I did more honest

I did more since my Disneyland trip honest. I went to the fair and it was fun. Mind you I don't go on rides, but we went for food and the displays which is always great. Saw animals and just enjoyed the beautiful day. Then the weekend after that I got blinds installed in my home, and enjoyed Madagascar 2. Then last weekend I had a wonderful HAGS (Have a Good Saturday)breakfast we have one every 3 Saturday of the month, and it's a bunch of us just get together same place same time and we eat and talk. After that I went to the mineral museum which was very interesting, and in the process we watched protesters walk by from the safety of the building. It was very intense they said some pretty mean things about LDS folks. It's their right to express themselves, and it was not out of control so yeah. Now I am caught up to where I am in the week. I have a busy weekend ahead of me and am excited. For those of you who know I am reading the twilight series I am still working on breaking dawn. I promise I"ll eventually get it done :)

Here's a quick update on my life since I dunno how many people have been in touch with me. My biggest news was in October I went to Disneyland. I went with my room mate, a friend and her husband. My room mate and I stayed in the Disneyland Hotel which is located in Downtown Disney. It was AWESOME! We stayed on the 10th floor and could watch the fireworks from my room if I wanted too. Smart me left my camera in Phoenix LOL! So we rode basically every ride in California Adventures and Disneyland. Well I didn't do much in California adventures because I was sick that day. I did Soring California, Bugs life, Monsters Inc and Muppet's 3d. I was not having as much fun that day as I could cause i was sick, but the group went on screamin California, tower of terror, and MUCH more. we didn't want to wait in line for a million years so didn't do toy story, but maybe next year. In Disneyland we went on everything be proud of me i faced my fears and did Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain and the mannahorn. Go me! I had a blast. I met a really nice guy while I was there as well, and that has been going great as well. As for work it's been going pretty well keeping me busy as I've had a change of my schedule, and now things are going well. Except for one parent who seems to REALLY not like my co worker and it's really bad, but I won't get into that here. As for my reiki I am a full reiki master now, and am enjoying helping others in life with this gift. I am also still teaching my fairy class once a month, and enjoying that as well. It's great to have a place where I can express the 'other' side of me, and not be judged. I hope this is a good enough update for now, and I hope to keep up now :)
