More Festival FUN!

So this week I am doing a lot better. I am coping well with the whole Steven thing, and for all who want to know we are no longer a couple, and due to a death of his only living grandmother. He is going back to Ireland for an unknown amount of time to figure things out. I just ask for you to keep him in your prayers and send positive loving thoughts his way. He needs all he can get as he tries to find peace and comfort during this time.

I have also had the encounter of a friend of mien trying to figure out to live or not, and I had a few challenges presented at work. So if you could just keep me in your prayers and thoughts I would appreciate it. So on to bigger better funner things!

SO I went to the Renaissance Festival again. Yeah I know BIG shocker right? I went with just me and Trisha this time. We saw many different shows. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. A nice sunny sky high in the mid 70’s it was just nice, and there were a lot of people there, but it was nice. We decided to watch a few shows because of my foot. So we watched the Pirates of course then we saw the end of Fool Hearty they are a cute family friendly show, and as you can see from the photos they are clowns they do fool school show and they also to a dog show. Cute fun and very child friendly not so much adult friendly, we were there to eat rest my foot and wait for London broil. London broil is three guys named Matt, Duncan and Louie. They juggle and talk and are FUNNY they have been friends forever, and they work well together. Matt is the one juggling fire in the video. The photo is all three of them juggling in a three man pattern Matt is in the green, Duncan the red and Louie in the blue with the yellow feather in his hat. They provide entertainment and laughter and juggling tricks with clubs and fire in this show, but they do a improve show for their last show and I LOVE that one, but maybe next time I can see it. We made our way to Wyld Man which is theater in the mud, and I took two videos of it so you can get some of an idea of what it’s about. They take you back in time to ‘mudhenge’ and we encounter wyld man, and the video hopefully show it, but again cell phone video not so great. After that we went to loud bagpipes of Tartanic where I have a friend in the show. I took a picture, but he can’t be seen, and I took a video so you can get an idea of the music. We went to Tartanic instead of the Whip because of the sun I didn’t want to be in it too long so my hope is next week to get you some whipping action. After that we went to the Pirates for their ‘drunken pirate show’ it was a lot of fun very laid back and easy going small crowd. Then we went to Hey Nunnie Nunnie which is two nuns who do silly songs and counseling I took a photo and a video of them. They are funny and anyone can watch them. I hope you enjoy the photos and videos this week. Next week I will be going with Rachel, Trisha and myself and when I am about there will be a student of mine out there. How fun for me I am excited to see her out there.

Until next time fairy blessings and keep smiling. Enjoy the photos and videos

Not the best weekend

Ok here goes I don’t want to get into details if you want that you know how to e-mail me. Nutshell of the sadness Steven and I are backing up our relationship and he is a friend only. That’s all I want to say on the matter on here. This being said that leads into he did not make it out here to see me this weekend as I had thought he would.

So on Friday I went to the office to get the lug nuts on my tire fixed, and I talked with some old friends there. It was a lot of fun to catch up, and I then came home, and cleaned and relaxed then went to dinner, and I had a long talk with Rachel, and then came home, and went to bed.

I got up early, and went to the Renaissance Festival. I took some videos with my cell phone, and am not sure how well they came out, but I’m going to try to post them up here at the end of this post. I also have a few pictures that I took with my cell phone, and hope they turn out ok to put up here as well. Cell phones are good when you keep forgetting your camera. This weekend I mainly stayed near the Pirate Shanty man and his Bonnie Lass. They were doing a different show every time so it was fun to see what they did. They are really sweet people too. We also watched Cast in Bronze, Clan Tynker, and the tail end of London broil. SO my videos are of Pirate, Cast in Bronze and Clan Tynker, and I have a picture of Cast in Bronze and The pirates. Cast in Bronze is an amazing experience. This one man who is ‘the spirit’ of the bells, takes this amazing 4 tone instrument with 35 bells, and uses his hands and feet to play it. Combined with modern music he shares his gift and the beauty of the bells with anyone who comes. I own all his cds, DVDs, book, poster, and even a vhs. He has a website if you’re interested, and is just a real amazing man. Whom I’ve been watching since he first came to the festival. Clan Tynker is a family of 5 siblings and one brother in law, and they do all kinds of things juggling, stilt walking, playing with fire, Asian dance, poi, and much more they are a great family act and just a fun site to see. I’ve been watching them since they were a cart that found space on the ground to perform now they have a stage. The Pirate Shanty man, and Bonnie Lass are my newest thing they have been at the festival 3 years, and I watched them and liked their humor and family friendly show. It’s comedy, music and fun pirate style. Now they have 4 different shows take the kids to the early ones is my advice. That’s it for the shows I saw this week, but I also ran into the Wyld Men whom I have been going to for years. They do theater in the mud, and are amazing. I also ran into my friend from Tartanic. Next week my hope is to go see Adam Crack (whip show), Clan Tynker, London broil, and of course the wyld man and pirates. WE will see what happens though. Never know once we get there things have a way of changing. I hope you enjoy the photos and videos.

What a FUN time

I had a busy weekend with lots of fun. Friday night I had my co worker Joy stay the night. Trisha, Joy and I went to Lonestar for dinner, and then came home and played Harry Potter Scene it Pirates Scene it and Pirates Life. Then we went to bed, and got up to go to the Arizona Renaissance Festival.

We waited for Rachel, and then off we went to begin the many fun adventures of the day. Starting off with stopping at Dunkin Doughnuts for breakfast it was busy because we had a little later start, but that’s ok. We made our way out to the festival with lots of talking, and fun as we went. It is wonderful to be a season ticket holder with a VIP parking. So our parking was REALLY nice and close. Once we got in I was happy as could be we walked around a little I got my Casanova which is a frozen drink that I only have found out there. It has green tea, black tea, wild berries, cream and sugar and it’s all blended together with ice. One of my FAVORITE things to drink out there, and one day I’ll find it somewhere I’m sure. So after that I found my pirate friends. They do a show called the Pirate shanty man and Bonnie lass they sing songs and I was laughing so hard. The lady that does it was like YES I am doing it right. It was so funny because they taught us a song the course is “the window, the window we threw it out the window with a yo ho ho and a heave and ho we threw it out the window the window” and it was just REALLY funny the stuff added before it. After that we went and caught up with my friend David who is in the band Tartaric they play bagpipes and there’s LOTS of fun and great music. I bought some of their cd’s then we went to go see Tortuga Twins who were doing a new show called Helen of Troy, and it’s brand new so much that they don’t know the script all the way yet, and it was freaking funny to watch and be apart of it. Then we went to catch up with Wyld Men theater in the mud and was recognized by the two who know us. Then we went back for the last pirate shanty man bonnie lass show of the day. It was great there was a young man who was just throwing out off the wall comments back to them. SO funny go “g-string man” then we walked around I bough some earrings and necklace and we caught up with Cast in Bronze bought a CD for work went to the torture chamber then ran into “the boys” who are from the wyld man show hung out with them talked and listened to their veggie music which sounds funny to say, but is really great to listen too. Then on the way out we again talked to Bonnie Lass and Shanty man.

This is window chorus only (sorry it's bad)

We came back to town went to Pedro’s and had Mexican food then came home cleaned up and went to bed. I am excited for this week when Steven will visit, and I will go back to the festival.

I ran away (but had to come back)

So my week was a on the crazy side. We had so much happen this week at work, and I was done. I just needed a break away from everything. So after the Q’s were done and over with, and life started to get back to normal it was still crazy. One of the sad, but good things that happened was all directors got a pay cut in order to prevent us from loosing jobs. They also cut out a University which is where you go and get trained for a 4 hour period for a Saturday and then the next Saturday same thing it’s only 3 times a year, but they cut one of them to help save money.

So I took the girls up to my cabin we had a nice relaxing time, and no pictures just fun happy memories. One of them being where I kicked the snow and my shoes came off so I was barefoot in the snow. We went to visit a friend named John in Williams, and he is one of the nicest most genuine people you will EVER meet. We spent a good part of Saturday just talking and hanging out with him. It was so nice to just catch up. He used to give a ‘Ghost Tour’ of Williams, but some stuff happened, and he no longer does that. So he’s working on a Historic Tour that we hope to go on next time we visit. We ate at a local restaurant in Williams. Then went and shopped around in Flagstaff spend the evening relaxing watching a few movies then to bed, and this morning we went to Williams explored a few shops said goodbye to John, and are home now. As we came home we did see a herd of deer it was pretty at least to me. I love seeing snow and animals in it.

I needed to get away so bad it was nice I feel like I can handle the week now! Which starting this weekend will be full of Renaissance Festival stories and One of Steven’s visit to see me. So many fun things to look forward to, Renaissance Festivals, Steven’s visit, and Les Miserable. Keep checking in with the ever going me, and have a blessed life.
