Happy New Year and Trip!

Monday and Tuesday were days that I was just lazy and stayed home. I packed and played rock band and just enjoyed doing nothing. Wednesday I got ready for and went on my mini vacation. Here’s how the trip went. Wednesday Rachel, Trisha, and I were to leave to Serria Vista where we would stay during the next 3 days. We got off late due to there was suppose to be construction delays. So we went to eat breakfast with Ethan, and so forth. Then we left at about 1130-12 thinking the construction would die down and that our drive would be about 3 hours. Things went ok until we hit near Casa Grande and there was a back up barely moving crawl for 3 hours. We finally got through it and stopped in Casa Grande for a bite to eat, and thought ok we are good. We hit Tucson where we had another back up due to accident. We wanted to see Bisbee before stuff closed down. So we decided to go there first before the hotel, and that was fine. We got to Bisbee FINALLY, and the total drive had been about 5 hours. Suppose to of been only 3 hours. So we found a place to eat got followed by a creepy guy, and decided we would come back during the day. We left to the hotel got settled and enjoyed the evening. Thursday we got up and going enjoyed the free breakfast. It was New Years Eve so we just decided to go to a few places, and have an evening bringing I the New Year safely in the hotel room. So we went to see THE THING which was really cool, and we had lunch there. We then decided to by pass the Chirciua Mountains and we would go next time. We made our way to Bisbee. This time we saw a very BRIGHTLY decorated car it was bejeweled, bedazzled, bottle topped, bobble heads it was crazy, and it was driving around. We tried to get a picture, but it didn’t happen. Bisbee has a lot of hippies, and is very free spirited. We went to the town hall museum and learned a little about the mines, and the copper. We then walked around looking for a place to eat that was open. We hit a interruptive artist group. They looked like Alice in Wonderland gone BAD. It was funny after 2 hours we finally found a place to eat. We ate and then went back to Serria Vista had a hour wait to have dinner then went to the hotel and brought in the new year there. Friday we spent the WHOLE day in Tombstone, and it was fun we got there about 10 in the morning and left about 930-10 at night. We started off by visiting Wyatt Earps house, and from there we went to Boothill graveyard. Then we went to The OK Corral didn’t wanted the reenactment, but we did read the history then we watched a video about the history of tombstone. We went to the epithat got a old newspaper we then made our way to the birdcage. We decided to do 2 haunted tours while we were there one was a walking tour the other a trolley tour. We went on silver mine tour, and then we went on the trolley tour. It was a lot of fun we learned a lot, and went to a lot of places. They talked about the murders and haunts of each area. We visited boothill, Oriental saloon, gold dollar’s crib (house), Burford house, Death Alley, a tree where a man was killed, Jail, Birdcage, and the OK corral. If you want the details on those just ask. After that we had our walking haunted and history tour. This was my favorite it started at the OK corral went to the court house and back to the corral. The man who did this tour his name was Josh, and he was GREAT. He has worked with Ghost Adventures, Ghost Lab and Ghost Hunters, and as you all know I love Ghost Hunters. I talked to him about his dealing with the different groups, and got his honest reaction. Josh talked to us about Justice Jim, John Heath and another man named John who gave him a personal experience. We stopped at three or 4 places and he shared the history and the facts. He wasn’t trying to make anyone believe or not believe he just shared the facts and stories. He also discredited a few stories I had heard, and he signed the book he wrote, and we called it a day. We decided to go back because there is a haunted tour in Bisbee we want to do there’s a investigative one with Josh we want to do and one of the birdcage. So we have reasons to go back and will. We then went home and rested for our journey home the next day. Saturday was going home day it only took us about 2-3 hours no traffic troubles nothing. We got home by 1 relaxed a little unpacked and so forth, and then Ethan, Jonathan, Rachel, Trisha and I went and saw Sherlock Holmes. It was a pretty good movie considering I knew very little to nothing about Sherlock Holmes. After that we went to have dinner, and then went back to Rachel an Jonathans and watched Constantine which was pretty good actually. Then we came home and went to bed. Here it is Sunday, and I am uploading pictures, catching up on e-mail, laundry and just trying to get ready for going back to work and normal. Until next week ya’ll have fun and keep smiling.
