:/

this week has been off and on good and crazy. I have been with the 2 year olds and then alone in the infants all week. However, I have been able to get off work on the 'early' side which is nice, but at the same point it's kind of not nice. I am sorta stuck waiting till we have more infants in the infant room, but as of right now I think I am doing ok. I had a nice weekend as well got some clothes, and had some nice times with friends. However, today I am not feeling well woke with a low fever, and a stomach ache. I hope it passes soon. Until next time have a super week!

do wah ditty

This week has been ok yet interesting. I'd love to have just a 'regular' week where teachers stay in the rooms they are suppose to, and there isn't any drama, but in order to have that I'd have to live in a perfect world. So I simply deal with the things that come, and try to find the positive in it all. I know the Lord has been continues to be and will always be the one in control, and the one who will help me most through ALL my trials. So I had a different teacher working with me one day this week. She claimed to have a kidney stone, and 'needed' to work with infants. It was a very trying time and i talk to my boss, and the afternoon she did not stay in my room. The two times this week for reasons I am still unclear of I was left alone with 5 of my students and moved 3 of my others around. I don't know if my boss is trying to transition these one year olds to move them up or if she's watching labor hours or what. I just do what I'm told and don't ask questions anymore. In them doing this I also go home early on days that I use to stay a almost full day. It's nice to be off, but at the same point it sends me into worry because I need my job to make the money I need to stay in my home. I'm already stressing about how to make next month's bills, but I know too I can change a few things, and I should be ok. My weekend was mainly relaxing, and nice. I did allot of just 'me' time. I spent some of it doing a dinner, movie and games which was allot of fun. Saw Clash of the Titans, and it wasn't bad, but i didn't follow it as well as perhaps I should. I do give the special effects a thumbs up they were great. I know a little mythology so that was helpful, but some of it I was like who did what there? Over all very nice though. Today I am just relaxing rest restoring myself for the week to come. I am enjoying the human spirit, and the awesome power the Lord has in my life. I have taken to just sitting back and talk to my Heavenly Father about how truly blessed my life is, and how truly grateful I am for all I have. Until next time keep smiling everyone :)

This week had a few adventures like staying way later than I was suppose to, having to work with a different teacher than usual because she was having contractions and was fearful the stress of her 3 1/2 year old room might make things worse. She's fine and everything now, but that day was interesting. To my boss having a HUGE YELLING match with a coworker because of a parent trying to stir up all kinds of trouble. It was a mess, and I VERY glad it didn't involve me, and that I'm not dealing with it. I had a lovely dinner Friday, and enjoyed relaxing and forgetting about all the drama at work. Saturday I went to Arizona Broadway Theater to watch the beautifully talented actors and my friends do a production of CATS. They are always so talented, and the food was good too. I then got a new outfit from some Christmas money, and after that we went to see How to Train A Dragon with Rachel and Jonathan. It was a really cute movie, and I enjoyed my time out. Now it's Sunday, and it's Easter, and it's BEAUTIFUL outside. I love Spring, and Easter and the time we can take to reflect on the Savior. For his life, and the gift we all have of him and all he has done for us. I know how wonderful this time of year is, and I think it's very sad that so many people only really focus on Christ's influence in their life at Easter and Christmas. I personally think people should always take time every day to thank Heavenly Father for ALL our beautiful blessings. Even on days when the skies look darkest there is always light, and I am so thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who guides me, and helps me in all I do. I am grateful for the Savior, and for his willingness to take on all our sins that we can be with him again. I love Spring when things start to renew and breathe again after a long sleepy winter.

goodbye

This week over all was good nothing major happened. I'm STILL sick, but so is most of the kids I work with. This weekend was a nice but sad one. I went to the Renaissance Festival to say goodbye to all my friends, and see one last show. I had a good yet weird time there. The crowds were kind of off,but we made the best of it. Today Sunday there was a fire, and it delayed the last day of festival for about 30-45 min,but everyone is ok. The fire was in one of the kitchens, but all the people are safe, and everything is set to go good. I'm taking this day to rest finish laundry upload photos and get my hair dyed and maybe go see Rachel today. Until next week keep smiling.

Sunday I started off going to the Renisance Festival only made it a couple hours before I felt yucky again. So came home got a hair cut, and came home and rested. Not a very eventful week by any means of the word, but it is what it is. Untill next week keep on smiling

Colds suck

Just in case anyone was wondering I dislike having colds, and have been fighting one all week. Over all the week went pretty well with the early days every other day. I'm enjoying it and managing to handle it pretty well. I had a good week Friday I had a nice little dinner out with Trisha. She left to go to Vegas for a week with her mom for spring break. So Saturday I was going to go to the festival with Rachel, but we got out to near Goldfield, and there was major traffic and we both didn't want to fight it. So we went to Goldfield Ghost town and the Dutchman Mesuem. It was fun to learn some history that was so close. After that we went to lunch and just relaxed. We then met up with Ethan, Jonthan and Darrell we had a nice time at dinner, and it was a nice day over all. today is Sunday and I'm feeling worse than I have all week so I am just resting and realxing all day trying to get better.

UGH

So the week has been basically normal. In infants all day now, and loving it. This weeks news is I am getting a slight schedule change that we are trying for week. I will be doing days on Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday, and closing Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday. I will be with a old coworker named Joy. We used to work with the 2's together, but things got all messed up. So Jennifer made changes and changes, and since we were short a infant teacher, and NO infant teachers have come in for interviews. Jennifer, Joy, Ebony and I had a talk last week, and decided to try this. It's a consistent for the babies and it give me part of my days back, and one person isn't stuck closing ALL the time. I think it's going to be good provided Jennifer sticks to it. That was WONDERFUL news, and we also learned that starting in April we will be earning PTO time again. This was GREAT! I'll be earning roughly 3 hours of vacation a pay period which will give me at least a day of paid vacation and maybe a half a day of paid vacation for when I go on my trip in June. VERY EXCITING!! So that was exciting and my weekend was lovely too. Had a nice relaxing dinner with Trisha on Friday. Saturday we went to the Renaissance Festival (I know SHOCKER right?) It was SO fun. I remet a friend named Darrell. We used to go to dances when we were teens, and we lost each other after high school. The magic of facebook put us back in touch, and we finally remet at the festival. Trisha, me and him had a lot of fun we watched the blacksmith, London broil (juggling show), Drunken Pirate show (dancing, singing, comidic pirates), Don Juan and Migel's "weird" show (it was WEIRD with whips, swords and just weirdness), and ended the day with a nice relaxing Cast in Bronze (carillon) I LOVE the carillon and i got his newest CD. After we were done out there we parted ways. Trisha and I met up with Rachel and Jonathan and went to dinner and a movie. We saw Alice in Wonderland, and i really liked it, and want to watch it again cause i think I missed al ot of stuff, but I enjoyed it. We then came home and it's Sunday and today it's raining it's soooo pretty and I have the door open a little, but might not keep it. I love listening to the rain, but I think I am getting a cold so I might not be able to keep the door open if its cool out. It's a beautiful relaxing day and until next week. Keep safe and be blessed.
